A new iPhone 6 concept image imagined a smartphone with edge-to-edge screen display.

The concept is nothing new as we have seen similar renders before Apple announced its new smartphones.

Rumours claimed that Apple is also testing 6-inch screen displays for the company's own phablet. This rumour surfaced days before the Apple's iPhone event last Sept. 10.

Removing the bezel could be Apple's way of enlarging the screen size of the device without increasing the overall size of the gadget. Thus, this still makes the iPhone pocket-friendly.

Last week, a concept image of the rumoured iPhone 6 also emerged that showed off a 5-inch screen display with iPad's design. The new iPhone 6 render was picked up from DeviantArt user iNasko.

Chatter claimed that the rumoured iPhone 6 will arrive in March. According to rumours, the iPhone 6 release date will take place on the first quarter of next year despite the recent release of new iPhones. Apple recently unveiled its two new smartphones - the iPhone 5S and the iPhone 5C. However, to the dismay of many consumers, both handsets sport the same, old 4-inch screen display.

The iPhone 6 is expected to feature a 5-inch Full HD screen display. It may also include the 64-bit A7 processor and M7 GPU chip as well as the fingerprint sensor like the iPhone 5S. Features like Near Field Communication and larger internal storage of up to 128 GB are also rumoured to be included in Apple's phablet. The iPhone 6 will most probably run with iOS7.
