As the rumored September release day nears, more alleged photos of iPhone 5 emerged online.

Online repair shop iResQ posted some purported photos of Apple's next-generation iPhone. The photos showed off a new smaller dock connecter with newly-located headphone jack. The photos show a larger grill for the speakers and give a great glimpse into what the iPhone 5 will actually look like.

The photos finally clear up how many pins Apple's new dock connecter will actually have. We can finally say goodbye to the archaic 30-pin connecter and say hello to a brand new 8-pin connecter.

The other big difference in the iPhone 5 is the new placement of the headphone jack, moving from the top left of the iPhone to the bottom left. This design follows suit with the current iPod Touch.

The alleged iPhone 5 photos also showed a new front panel display although it is almost similar from previous iPhone 5 leaked photos.

According to the Taiwanese daily newspaper Apple Daily, the new iPhone 5 will be skinnier. Earlier reports have suggested that the device will be taller than the current model and feature an expanded display.

iPhone 5's final measurement specs will be 58.47mm x 123.83mm x 7.6mm. As with previous iterations, thickness is expected to be equal across the body.

Another rumor surrounding the device is its smaller micro dock connector. Previous iPhones sport a30-pin dock connector and earlier reports claimed that it will be replaced with 19-pin dock connector. This may impact consumers who would like to upgrade as they will also have to upgrade their accessories using 30-pin.

New reports said that the new iPhone 5 will have a 9-pin dock connector. The beta version of iOS 6 holds proof on this claim. Smaller dock connector will yield more space inside for greater features.

With minimal changes made on the outside, we can only hope that the Apple packed more inside the new iPhone 5. Some of the rumored features of the upcoming iPhone 5 are 4G/LTE capability, A6 chip and equipped by the new iOS 6.

According to the rumors, the iPhone 5 should be good to go for preorders on the launch expected to be on September 12 and will be released on September 21.
