The Huawei Honor 6 Plus smartphone can now be purchased by interested customers around the world. The news comes after Huawei's spokesperson reportedly stated that the company will not make the Honor 6 Plus available in European and other Western markets.

Notably, this handset was launched in China in mid-December. The 16 GB variant of the Huawei's Honor 6 Plus can be availed from Oppomart at a price of $399. Nonetheless, only the white model of the handset is available at this point, reports GSM Arena.

When it comes to key specifications, the Huawei Honor 6 Plus features a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display packed with full HD 1,920 x 1,080 pixels screen resolution. This translates to a pixel density of a solid 485 ppi. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by an octacore (HiSilicon Kirin 925) processor with four Cortex-A15 cores and four more Cortex-A7 cores. Plus, the graphics is handled by Mali T628 MP4. On the software end, the phone runs on Android v4.4.4 KitKat along with Emotion v3.0 UI on top of it.

The device is backed by a killer 3 GB RAM. When it comes to memory configuration, the handset is equipped with 16 GB and 32 GB internal storage capacities. In addition, there is also a microSD card slot for expansion up to 128 GB. The Honor 6 Plus also features a whopping 3,600 mAh battery unit.

Furthermore, this handset comes with a standout camera feature. The device sports a dual 8 MP rear-facing camera that is capable of shooting 13 MP shots and dual-LED flash. Additionally, the housed camera unit allows users to add effects to the captured images and also boasts a super fast autofocus. Also, the handset features an 8 MP front-facing camera unit for selfies.

Most importantly, the handset supports dual-SIM and uses micro- and nano-SIM cards. Notably, the micro-SIM card panel doubles as the microSD card holder. Aside from the standard connectivity options, the device also supports NFC, GPS and LTE. The Honor 6 Plus is 0.30 inches thick and weighs 165 g.
