New collections or editions of a game are always welcome. This week, three developers have confirmed development for different editions for “The Witcher 3,” “The Elder Scrolls Online” and “Rocket League.”

“The Witcher 3” GOTY Edition

CD Projekt Red has confirmed the previous leak: there will be a Game of the Year Edition for “The Witcher 3.”

Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, game director, got in touch with Eurogamer to confirm this. According to him, this was in response to the fans’ call for a GOTY edition. He reserved the announcement of details at a later date, but promised that it will be released in the future.

“The Elder Scrolls Online” Gold Edition

Even though its official release was back in 2014, Bethesda’s “The Elder Scrolls Online” remains popular among players. For first-time players who are interested in the franchise or fans who just want the new edition can opt to have the Gold Edition, recently announced.

According to DualShockers, the Gold Edition will have the base game, updates and DLC expansions. In addition, it will have a Palomino horse mount with purchases. It will also come with 500 crowns upon registration.

There’s still two months away from the set release date of Sept. 9. Other details like pricing and availability have yet to be detailed.

“Rocket League: Collector’s Edition

North American fans can now have a shot at getting the “Rocket League” Collector’s Edition following its European release. Over at the official “Rocket League” website, the developer confirmed that this is the first boxed product that has been wholly created and released by the studio.

“It’s a fantastic way to spend the one-year anniversary of the game, really, which is a milestone we very much look to hit later this week, and it’s one that we hope you’ll join us in celebrating,” said Psyonix.

To accompany the launch, developer Psyonix has also released a new trailer for the Collector’s Edition, seen below.
