New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is apparently a great teammate even to practice squad players with reports that the star QB pays them for every interception made during the team’s practice sessions.

"I won't say how much he paid them, but he'd pay scout team and practice squad guys if they picked him off," Donte Stallworth said via Yahoo Sports. "Not in an arrogant manner, but more, 'let's work together.' He'd tell them, if you can read me, read the receiver, pick me off and I'll pay you.”

Stallworth shared Brady’s generosity to practice players after reports that Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehil has lashed out at practice squad players for intercepting his passes during practice.

Stallworth, a former NFL wide receiver, played with Brady in New England in 2007 and 2012. Brady has been in the centre of controversy during the offseason for his involvement in the “DeflateGate” controversy but has led the Patriots to a 3-0 record so far this season.

The Patriots beat the Pittsburgh Steelers (28-21), Buffalo Bills (40-32) and Jacksonville Jaguars (51-17) with the star quarterback accumulating 1,112 passing yards on 96 of 133 completions with 9 touchdowns and zero interceptions.
