Aussies have always had their way into the big world of Hollywood with household names like Hugh Jackman, Nicole Kidman, Naomi Watts, Mel Gibson and a lot more.

The list can just go on endlessly, but now that another new year has finally come around the bend, it is just about time to get to know the new generation of Aussies who worked their way to the best of limelight.

Many may not be familiar with the name Emily Browning, but she is remembered well for her works in 'The Uninvited' and 'Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events.' She got more boost for her career when she had the lead role for 'Suckerpunch.'

Simon Baker has a career continuously soaring high being on his third season as the lead character in the television series 'Mentalist.' He's one of the few Aussie actors out there who crushed the usual demand for US young actors for series jobs on TV.

Ryan Kwanten had his big break in mainstream Hollywood after having had the chance to play the role of a sensual vampire for 'True Blood.' He is one actor who has not forgotten his roots at all for he is also to star in a horror flick set in his home country entitled 'Red Hill.'

And then there's Chris Hemsworth who had seemingly blocked the doors of sci-fi to American actors. He has impressed everyone with his role as 'Thor' and was also chosen to act in the revival of the 'Red Dawn.'
