Emerging young actor Charlie Rowe becomes a part of 'Neverland' right on Syfy which is a prequel to the classic 'Peter Pan.'

'Neverland' is a two part presentation that aired last December 4 and 5. It carried its audience from the Caribbean pirates setting and straight to the back alleys of London to a world that is filled with pure imagination.

Rowe gets the role of Peter Pan and gets to act alongside Rhys Ifans who plays James Hook and also other stars like Keira Knightley as Tinker Bell amongst many others stars.

Peter Pan and friends fight on in this story to save the world while realizing that to grow up in their home called Neverland is far more important than growing old in some other place.

Charlie Rowe shares in an interview with Syfy that this is the story that explains a lot of thing including how Hook lost his hand and how Peter learned how to fly.

He describes the role of Peter Pan which he plays as someone lonely until he discovers that he can use his youthful vibrancy to encourage others to be happy all the time. Peter Pan, for the actor, was a simple plain kid who just wants to be taken seriously by the adults.

The only challenge he thought about everything in making the film was the fact that 85% of the entire thing was made up of green sets. They had to imagine a lot and be creative most of the time since the special effects had to be added at the end part of the shoot.

Charlie Rowe feels highly privileged to have been chosen to play the iconic role. He also feels grateful for having to work with Keira Knightley once again, with his first being in 'Never Let Me Go.'

"Keira offers me a lot of good advice," Rowe said in one interview during the British Academy Children's Awards.
