Netflix, Stan and Foxtel are all releasing something new this March. Fresh new content will be arriving to those with Australian subscriptions on these platforms. However, Netflix will release a number of new originals that many are sure to watch out for.

Netflix is a streaming giant that has recently continued its great partnership with Marvel. The two big names are bringing in the first season of Iron Fist on Netflix. This show is just one of the many shows that will be coming to Netflix. Here are some of the more notable ones that consist of Netflix Originals and others.

March 3

'Greenleaf': Season 1

This show finished showing its finale in September 2016. It is written and produced by Craig Wright who also wrote “Lost,” “Six Feet Under,” “Brothers & Sisters.” The show will transport viewers to Memphis, Tennessee and it focuses on the Greenleaf family and their mega-church.

'Homeland': Season 5

For those who are waiting for “Homeland’s” fifth season, it is headed their way. "Homeland" season 5 looks into the trade-offs of the American government to sustain security. However, there is always a price to pay for this. Furthermore, the fifth season focuses on the rise of cyber-crime.

'American Crime Story: The People v OJ Simpson'

This is under FX true crime anthology TV series. It features 10 episodes that recount OJ Simpson’s trial for the supposed murder of his wife. Although it debuted on February 2016, it is being shown on the Australian Netflix this March.

'Love': Season 2

After the first season was released last year, there are many people looking when the second season will air. This is the answer for those who are waiting for the second season. It is a romantic comedy that focuses on the exhilaration and humiliation of intimacy, commitment, love and other things.

'One More Time': Season 2

This show is about an aspiring singer who decides to take a break from her career and live with her father. However, she realises that he is a crooner who wants to make a comeback. They are both faced with challenges in their singing careers.

'Thithi'

This is an Indian film wherein three men from three different generations react differently to the death of their grandfather Century Gowda. The three men's storylines intertwine before meeting at Century Gowda's "Thithi," the final funeral celebration that takes place 11 days after a death.

March 16

'Beau Sejour': Season 1

This was a show that debuted in January. According to Netflix, it is about a teenager named Kato, who investigates her own mysterious death as she is in a limbo. In the course of her investigation, she unravels a web of secrets in her seemingly tranquil village.

March 17

'Marvel’s Iron Fist': Season 1

This series is based on Iron Fist from the Marvel Comics universe. It will follow the protagonist Danny Rand who goes back to New York City after he was thought to be dead for the past 15 years. Rand wants to reclaim his family’s company. However, threats soon emerge and he now needs to choose between his family’s legacy or his duties as Iron Fist.

'Samurai Gourmet': Season 1

This is a live action show that is based on a manga series. It focuses on Takeshi Kasumi's search for the most delectable food the world can offer to satisfy his stomach and the samurai's soul.

'Naledi': A Baby Elephant’s Tale

It is a documentary that is based on a true-to-life story of an elephant that was born in captivity in a rescue camp. It is about the survival of the baby elephant Naledi when she became orphaned at six months old.

'Selma'

A documentary film that focuses on the Voting Rights Act of 1965. It tells the story of how Dr Martin Luther King and others created a movement to change history.
