Neighbours” has come up with a creative and entertaining way to recap its past episodes – and it’s readily available on YouTube.

Called “Pipe Up,” the new web series is hosted by young Australian actress Mavournee Hazel, who currently plays Piper Willis, an outspoken schoolgirl. Piper is Terese Willis’ (Rebekah Elmaloglou) daughter with Brad Willis (Kip Gamblin).

The online spinoff features Piper’s review of the past week’s episodes, complete with her wacky twist. Considering that her character was introduced in a series of webisodes last year, “Pipe Up” is right across the young girl’s alley. In the pilot episode titled “Crazy Week,” Piper shared the story of her best friend, Xanthe Canning (Lilly Van Der Meer), who is currently undergoing a miserable situation after being assaulted by a male schoolmate.

Piper gave a “class” to basically describe Xanthe’s terrible ordeal. Using a hole-puncher and a pink highlighter to represent a boy and a girl, respectively, Piper’s story basically revolved around a guy forcing his way to a girl, making her uncomfortable. “We all should know that ‘no’ means ‘no,’” she said. “It doesn’t need to be said verbally, it can be non-direct or through body language.” She added that when someone says no, the other person should just back off, full stop.

While she talked about a serious topic, Piper also injected some of her signature brand of humour. She admitted that she has a tendency of making things worse. Her decision-making, according to her, is also as brilliant as Australia’s performance at the recently concluded Olympic Games. Piper thought of cheering up Xanthe with an app that matches a person’s photo with a dog breed, but it didn’t actually work. She also tried Mark Brennan (Scott McGregor) as an example, and the app suggested that he resembled a German shepherd, which Piper said was fitting given that he’s a local policeman. Piper also submitted a photo of a certain teacher, whom she did not name but was clearly Elly Conway (Jodi Anasta). The app matched Elly’s photo with a bulldog, or as Piper put it, “a real capital B.”
