An emotionally charged day awaits Ramsay Street residents on the upcoming episode of “Neighbours.” On Wednesday, fans of the Aussie soap get to see Brooke Butler (Fifi Box), Xanthe Canning’s (Lilly Van Der Meer) wayward mum. Part of the reasons why Xanthe went to the Gold Coast – aside from being with her boyfriend – is to hopefully see her mother. It would be interesting to watch their encounter and whether Brooke heads to Erinsborough after.

Meanwhile, Ned Willis (Ben Hall) is caught between a rock and a hard place after he learns that Jacka Hills (Brad McMurray) already knows the truth. Stephanie Scully (Carla Bonner) wants him to leave, knowing how dangerous Jacka could be. Other “Neighbours” cast members who will also appear on the Sept. 28 episode include Ben Ian Kirk (Felix Mallard), Susan Kennedy (Jackie Woodburne), Elly Conway (Jodi Anasta), Mark Brennan (Scott McGregor), Amy Williams (Zoe Cramond), Aaron Brennan (Matt Wilson) and newbies Dr David Tanaka (Takaya Honda) and Leo Tanaka (Tim Kano).

“Neighbours” also stars Karl Kennedy (Alan Fletcher), Sheila Canning (Colette Mann), Gary Canning (Damien Richardson), Terese Willis (Rebekah Elmaloglou), Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis), Jarrod “Toadie” Rebecchi (Ryan Moloney), Sonya Rebecchi (Eve Morey), Jack Callahan (Andrew Morley), Paige Smith (Olympia Valance), Brad Willis (Kip Gamblin), Lauren Turner (Kate Kendall), Tyler Brennan (Travis Burns), Piper Willis (Mavournee Hazel) and Jimmy Williams (Darcy Tadich).

“Neighbours” posted a sneak peek of Wednesday’s episode on its Facebook page. In the clip, Aaron bumps into Leo and meets David. Aaron tries to engage Leo into a conversation, but the latter seems uninterested and brushes him off. Digital Spy reports that while Aaron is attracted to Leo, Amy becomes interested in David.

Digital Spy spoilers also suggest that Steph advises Ned to skip town after Jacka finds out he had an affair with Regan. Ned hesitates, however, since he needs to be at Brad’s wedding as the best man. Meanwhile, Xanthe longs to see her mum at the Gold Coast but doesn’t know how. Unknown to her, Brooke is watching her from a distance.

“Neighbours” recap

On Tuesday, Ben and Xanthe excitedly went to their hotel room to take their relationship to a whole new level. However, things turned ugly when Susan turned up. An argument ensued among the three. Xanthe insisted that she went there only for the sole reason of showing Ben where she grew up. Susan agreed for Xanthe to stay at Gold Coast, but the young girl should sleep in her room.

Meanwhile, Madison ranted to Paul about seeing Logan, pouring her heart out to her uncle. He advised her to confront Logan so she could focus on her auditions. She did just as much, telling Logan everything. Logan cleared the air, addressing every point that Madison made. It appeared that Madison only misinterpreted their previous argument that led to their breakup. Logan then informed her about moving to California and invited her to go with him.

Later, Susan, Ben, Xanthe and Angus showed up at the auditions but Madison was missing. To bide for time and save her spot, Angus pretended that he’s Madison. Surprisingly, Angus performed well. All the while, Madison was outside, mulling over Logan’s offer. Xanthe spotted her and tried to grab her to go through the audition. However, Madison informed her about Logan and said she may not be able to do it. Xanthe shook some sense into her and said it’s better to audition then figure out what happens later.

Madison then showed up and performed as planned. She clearly blew the executives away and hired her on the spot. Everyone was happy for her, but Madison felt down, knowing that it meant separating from Logan again. Xanthe ordered her to go to the beach, where Logan was waiting for her. It appeared that Xanthe set the two of them up again for a meeting. Madison informed him that she got the job, but she’s choosing him and California. However, Logan said he’s not moving there anymore so they could be together and Madison could follow her dream. The two kissed.

Steph tracked down Ned to warn him that Jacka’s hunting his wife’s boy toy. Steph urged him to go away, claiming that they’d both be in danger when Jacka finds out the truth. Later, Ned confessed everything to Elly, including the grave danger he’s potentially in. Elly worried about him, but soon the two found a way to take their minds off the issue. After making love with Elly, Ned received a message from Regan, saying that Jacka knows everything.
