“Neighbours” posted a sneak peek of Thursday’s episode on its Facebook page. In the clip, Leo advises David not to pursue Bradley anymore – it’s not worth risking his residency over. David insists that Bradley needs treatment and that they can’t just leave their dad out there to fend for himself. Leo blows his top, saying he won’t let David lose his job over someone who may or may not be their loser father. Digital Spy reports that David stubbornly pursues more lead about Bradley, and he’s able to find his ex-wife. She admits Bradley's past seems eerily similar to Leo's present life.

Another preview video shows Amy ranting to Aaron about Leo. “He was like a completely different person,” she says. “Like I finally saw the real him for the first time.” Amy reckons that Leo needs help, but Aaron warns her that she’d only end up being hurt or disappointed. Aaron makes her promise to steer clear of the Tanakas and she begrudgingly agrees. “No more Tanakas,” she vows.

Digital Spy spoilers also suggest that Brad’s condition seems to worsen but he keeps it from Lauren. Instead, he turns to Terese to reveal about his illness, as well as another secret about his will.

“Neighbours” recap

On Wednesday, Sheila shared with Paul her misgivings about Brooke. He suggested having Brooke’s jewelry checked out by a professional – it could give them a clue what Xanthe’s mum is up to. When they see Amy dressed to the nines for her date with Leo, Sheila got an idea. She asked Brooke to lend out some jewelry to complete Amy’s look. However, Brooke refused. Failing on her first attempt to find evidence against Brooke, Sheila then rummaged her bag. As she was inspecting a pair of earrings, Xanthe walked in on her and wondered what she’s doing.

Backed in a corner, Sheila was forced to admit that she’s skeptical about Brooke’s arrival in Erinsborough. She suspected that Brooke’s just using them for money after they won in “Family Feud.” Xanthe insisted that Brooke loves her and misses her, which is why she turned up at their house. However, Xanthe admitted tht she’s also not 100 per cent convinced about her mum’s intentions. Later, Sheila had to return the earrings and confess to Brooke that she’s snooping around. It appeared that the jewelry is legit and Brooke said she doesn’t need the Cannings’ money. However, it appeared that Brooke is still being dishonest – she got a call from someone pressuring her to sell the jewelry.

At The Waterhole, Elly bumped into Leo, who’s also getting ready for his date with Amy. However, he got a message from David asking for help. He texted Amy that he’s running late, making Paul even more convinced that the date is a bad idea. Amy insisted going through it, claiming it’s just an experiment. While waiting for Leo, Steph arrived and they talked about her date. Elly butted in and complimented Amy, but commented that Leo may not be worth the effort and warned her not to rush into anything. When she left, Steph assured Amy that Elly’s just jealous. After an hour, there’s still no sign of her date. Leo tried to call her using David’s phone, but she ignored it. Upset, Amy couldn’t hurry home to take off the dress and forget about the whole evening. Later, Leo went to the Cannings’ house and apologised to Amy for standing her up. However, he couldn’t offer any excuse, just that some stuff came up. He tried to make it up to her, inviting her to another date, but Amy refused to be fooled for the second time. She returned the dress and kicked him out. Later, Paul confronted Leo and warned him not to mess with Amy.

Meanwhile, Leo arrived and saw David in such a state. David revealed that he finally found the man that could be their father. However, when he went to see him, Bradley attacked him. Bradley then hid inside the abandoned warehouse but he’s badly injured and David sought Leo’s help to look for him. As Leo prepared to leave, they heard a man moaning in pain and found Bradley. The two brought rushed him to the hospital, where Bradley was tended to. When Bradley wondered who they are, David told him that he could be their father. Bradley didn’t seem to believe it and later, he sneaked out of the hospital.
