It’s going to be an exciting and eventful day at Ramsay Street on the upcoming episode of “Neighbours.” On Monday, Lauren Turner’s (Kate Kendall) friends hold a bridal shower for her, with everyone putting on costumes to make the evening even more fun. Everyone’s in quite a festive mood, despite Ned Willis’ (Ben Hall) departure, but they are oblivious about the impending peril they are about to face.

Meanwhile, two pairs deal with opposite fates – one makes amends, while another experiences new conflict. Other “Neighbours” cast members who will also appear on the Oct. 10 episode include Terese Willis (Rebekah Elmaloglou), Gary Canning (Damien Richardson), Brad Willis (Kip Gamblin), Paige Smith (Olympia Valance), Jack Callahan (Andrew Morley), Amy Williams (Zoe Cramond), Sheila Canning (Colette Mann), Sonya Rebecchi (Eve Morey), Stephanie Scully (Carla Bonner), Elly Conway (Jodi Anasta) and Susan Kennedy (Jackie Woodburne).

“Neighbours” posted a sneak peek of Monday’s episode on its Facebook page. In the clip, things get hot and heavy again for Gary and Terese, who wear devil and angel costumes. Meanwhile, Paige puts on a nun costume which amuses everyone, except Jack. When he sees her, he seethes with anger and walks off. Digital Spy reports that the Ramsay Street residents are in their chosen costumes for Lauren’s hen night, and Paige’s latest stunt creates new complication in their relationship.

Digital Spy spoilers also suggest that while everyone’s busy with the party, they are unaware that Jacka is putting together his plans for his final revenge.

“Neighbours” recap

Last week, Steph excitedly shared with Sonya and Toadie that she’s meeting Adam, her son whom she gave up at birth. Later, at the park, Steph met Lucas and she introduced herself to Adam as his mum. They spent the day together talking and getting to know each other, but things were expectedly awkward. Ben also arrived and bonded well with Adam. Later, Steph recounted the entire day with Sonya and Toadie. She also asked them to keep it a secret from Mark, surprising the couple.

Meanwhile, Mark and Ned inspected the camper van and found out that it has been tampered with. Mark suspected Jacka’s the culprit and urged Ned to report the incident to the police. Ned hesitated, but Mark reminded him that Jacka’s out of revenge and that Ned’s family is in danger. Later, Ned told Elly that he needs to leave town again until the wedding because of Jacka. Elly was crushed – she can’t believe Ned’s walking away again. Later, Elly offered to go with Ned wherever he’s going. Despite his hesitations, he agreed. Susan tried to talk her out of it, citing her job, but Elly made up her mind. Overhearing the conversation, Angus spoke with Ned, telling him that Elly could be harmed by Jacka. Realising this, Ned decided to leave without Elly, breaking her heart. He left a note, professing his love for her.

At Harold’s, Gary was surprised that Terese was treating him coldly and business-like. When he got home, Gary confided in on Xanthe but did not disclose the name of the woman he’s been seeing. Xanthe advised her dad to man up and sweep the woman off her feet. Xanthe also styled Gary to make him more attractive. More confident, Gary went up to Terese to ask her what’s going on. She told him about what Paul said. Gary apologised, but Terese was seething mad. She even changed the passcode in her office so Jack won’t have access there… or any aspect in her life.
