A tense-filled day awaits Ramsay Street on the next episode of “Neighbours.” On Wednesday, Sonya Rebecchi (Eve Morey) and Jarrod “Toadie” Rebecchi’s (Ryan Moloney) relationship continues to be on the rocks. They air their issues about each other during a counselling session, in an effort to work things out between them.

The name of Dee Bliss / Andrea Somers (Madeleine West) comes up, with Sonya convinced that Toadie’s ex-wife is poisoning his mind. Toadie, on the other hand, raises his problem about Sonya’s growing closeness with Mark Brennan (Scott McGregor). Other “Neighbours” characters who will appear prominently on the March 8 episode include Paige Smith (Olympia Valance), Jack Callahan (Andrew Morley), Gary Canning (Damien Richardson), Terese Willis (Rebekah Elmaloglou) and Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis).

“Neighbours” posted a sneak peek of Wednesday’s episode on its Facebook page. In the clip, Sonya and Toadie are talking to a marriage therapist about their recent relationship issues. Sonya defends her closeness with Mark, saying, “He was just giving me a massage and then we felt the baby kick – that is it.” Toadie wonders how Sonya would feel if he had his hands all over Steph. When Sonya retorts that she trusts Steph, Toadie asks, “Dee then?”

Sonya admits that she’s threatened by Dee. “She’s just the great love of Jarrod’s life,” Sonya points out. “She’s gorgeous and she’s funny and everyone just adores her and now she’s living here again. If I was in her shoes, I would never stop loving you, Jarrod, or wanting you back.”

Digital Spy reports that Sonya believes Andrea, still acting as Dee, is feeding Toadie with negative thoughts. Wanting to know the truth once and for all, Toadie confronts Andrea about it and he’s shocked with her answer. The March 8 episode also features Jack, who becomes curious about his friend Dustin and his role in Paige’s life. Meanwhile, Gary wants to let everyone know about his relationship with Terese. However, she may not be ready for the big announcement yet.

“Neighbours” recap

On Tuesday, Elly was struggling at school after a Photoshopped image of her with Angus was published in the local newspaper. Piper confronted Willow, who denied it was her who sent it to the paper. Susan was also having difficulty managing the crisis, especially from angry parents. Later, Willow faced up to Andrea, accusing her of feeding the photo to the publication. Andrea admitted it was her, saying she did it for Willow. An argument ensued between the two and Willow swore she won’t talk to Andrea until they finally leave Erinsborough.

Later, Piper came clean about the fake ID scheme but said that she didn’t have anything to do with Elly’s picture. Susan thanked her for her honesty but gave her an appropriate punishment. Toadie dropped by at Robinson’s to discuss the whole issue with Willow, who also gave him the silent treatment. Andrea manipulated the whole situation once again and made it appear that Willow was the one who sent the photo to the paper.

Sonya asked Mark to reschedule a pre-natal checkup because Toadie organised an emergency marriage counseling session. Later, however, Toadie cancelled the session, telling Sonya that something came up with “Dee” and Willow. Sonya decided to go through the check-up with Mark. Afterwards, Mark took Sonya home and comforted her when she turned emotional about Toadie. When Toadie arrived, he learned that Sonya kept the doctor’s appointment, making him terribly upset. Mark couldn’t help but ask him if there’s anything wrong and Toadie blurted out his issues about his closeness with Sonya. Mark argued that Toadie’s been busy with “Dee” and Willow, prioritising them over Sonya. With too much tension between the two men, Toadie ended up kicking Mark off the house.
