Inner conflicts tangled with panic and anxiety fill Ramsay Street on the upcoming episode of “Neighbours.” On Tuesday, Mark Brennan (Scott McGregor) and Ned (Ben Hall) decide to set aside their differences and work together to find Tyler Brennan (Travis Burns) and Piper Willis (Mavournee Hazel). Spoilers suggest that they’d be able to locate the pair, but it would take some effort to convince them to go back.

Meanwhile, Paige (Olympia Valance) suffers in agony with David Tanaka (Takaya Honda) as they wait for her baby’s test results. Fortunately, her baby will most likely survive the incident and she’ll soon reveal the news to her family. Other “Neighbours” characters who will appear prominently on the Jan. 17 episode include Stephanie Scully (Carla Bonner), Terese Willis (Rebekah Elmaloglou), Brad Willis (Kip Gamblin) and Lauren Turner (Kate Kendall).

“Neighbours” also stars Sonya Rebecchi (Eve Morey), Jarrod “Toadie” Rebecchi (Ryan Moloney), Susan Kennedy (Jackie Woodburne), Karl Kennedy (Alan Fletcher), Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis), Amy Williams (Zoe Cramond), Jack Callahan (Andrew Morley), Gary Canning (Damien Richardson), Sheila Canning (Colette Mann), Aaron Brennan (Matt Wilson), Ben Ian Kirk (Felix Mallard), Xanthe Canning (Lilly Van Der Meer) and Leo Tanaka (Tim Kano).

“Neighbours” posted a sneak peek of Tuesday’s episode on its Facebook page. In the clip, Piper and Tyler are lying on the bed as they discuss about going home. Piper says that their loved ones can’t blame them for running off. Tyler asks her how long they should stay away for. It seems that if it’s up to Piper, they don’t need to go back. Tyler reminds her that he has a job. “We can’t stay away forever,” Tyler claims. “Erinsborough is our home. Eventually, we’ll have to go back.”

Digital Spy reports that Mark and Ned team up to chase after the couple, determined to bring back Tyler and Piper. Meanwhile, Mark’s fiancée feels conflicted if she should come clean to Mark after her unexpected moment with another woman. Elsewhere, Paige and David are wrought with worry about her baby’s health, following the scary incident at the nightclub.

“Neighbours” recap

On Monday, Susan lashed out at Karl and Ben for hurling out insulting words at Gary during the cricket match that Xanthe arranged. Susan wanted to meet up with the Cannings so Karl and Ben could personally apologise for their actions. However, the discussion didn’t exactly mend fences – while Susan offered to cancel Gary’s debt to them, he felt offended and guaranteed to pay them back whatever it takes. After, Gary tried to look for extra jobs but failing to find one, he decided to turn back to his old bad habits.

Steph continued to feel out of place when Mark showed concern for Sonya. Paul didn’t exactly help matters by talking bad about Mark and Sonya. Worse, Mark was also busy dealing with Tyler and Piper’s decision to run away. Mark sent Steph a message, saying he’d look for the two, making her feel lonely again. Later, Steph bumped into Victoria from the surrogacy clinic and they discussed about Sonya’s pregnancy and their engagement. After helping Victoria with her car, Steph went out with her for dinner. Over burgers, the two talked about their relationship issues. Before they knew it, their eyes locked together and it looked like there was electricity between them.

Meanwhile, Paige invited David to go to a nightclub so she could destress. He hesitated at first, but determined to look after Paige, he accepted and went with her. The two had a blast at the club, pretending to be completely different persons. However, their fun was cut short when Paige discovered she was bleeding. David urged her to go to the hospital so they could know what’s going on.
