Romance may be in the air at Ramsay Street, but love stories aren’t all moonlight and roses on the upcoming episodes of “Neighbours.” This week, Stephanie Scully (Carla Bonner) and Mark Brennan’s (Scott McGregor) relationship may be ending for good, despite their attempts to work things out. Spoilers suggest that Steph’s decision comes on the heels of a secret tryst with her new female friend.

The Feb. 13 to 17 episodes also centres on the complicated life of Jarrod “Toadie” Rebecchi’s (Ryan Moloney) with the two women in his life, Dee Bliss/Andrea Somers (Madeleine West) and Sonya Rebecchi (Eve Morey). It seems Dee is changing tack to get money – and it may involve stealing Toadie from Sonya.

Digital Spy reports that Monday’s episode shows Dee luring Toadie to the Werribee Mansion, the place where they got married, in time for Valentine’s Day. Dee says she wants to see if the place would trigger more memories, but it seems it would also reignite something else between her and Toadie. Meanwhile, Ned (Ben Hall) asks Elly Conway (Jodi Anasta) out for Valentine’s Day, but throws her a curveball when he delivers some shocking update.

On Tuesday, Steph decides to end her relationship with Mark once and for all, considering her encounter with Victoria Lamb (Claudia Greenstone). After getting closer with Dee, Toadie is more determined to help in making her plans a reality. However, Dee’s dreams entail money – lots of it – and Sonya is a bit hesitant about it.

Wednesday’s run centres on another theft incident at Ramsay Street, this time in Lassisters. After the whole plumbing mess at The Flame Tree, Terese Willis (Rebekah Elmaloglou) organises to hold the Pieces of Hollywood exhibition in her hotel. However, disaster strikes when a beautiful jewelled crown goes missing. Meanwhile, Sonya is shocked to find out Toadie’s generous offer to Dee and wastes no time confronting her husband about it. Their argument intensifies when Toadie expresses his true sentiments about the surrogacy.

The installment on Thursday features Steph, who is stunned to see Elly leave Mark’s bedroom, leaving her to assume that something happened between the two. Elsewhere, the missing crown mystery continues as two suspects are implicated: Leo Tanaka (Tim Kano) and Gary Canning (Damien Richardson). Xanthe Canning (Lilly Van Der Meer) and Ben Ian Kirk (Felix Mallard), on the other hand, reveal their secret romance, making Susan Kennedy (Jackie Woodburne), realise it’s time to end the Cannings-Kennedy war.

“Neighbours” wraps the week with an episode that focuses on Ned, who like Steph, believes Mark and Elly are hooking up. Coincidentally, an opportunity on the Gold Coast convinces him to move out of Erinsborough again, leaving Brad Willis (Kip Gamblin) distraught. Meanwhile, Piper Willis (Mavournee Hazel) can’t seem to keep herself out of trouble – this time, she gets a fake ID to spend more time with Tyler Brennan (Travis Burns), who’s working in the evenings as a bartender.

“Neighbours” also stars Karl Kennedy (Alan Fletcher), Amy Williams (Zoe Cramond), Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis), Jack Callahan (Andrew Morley), Paige Smith (Olympia Valance), Sheila Canning (Colette Mann), Aaron Brennan (Matt Wilson), Lauren Turner (Kate Kendall) and David Tanaka (Takaya Honda).
