The “Need For Speed" reboot by Electronic Arts is revving up its engine a little earlier for Xbox One owners. Through EA Access, the publisher’s subscription-based gaming service, Xbox One owners will get to access the game as early as Oct. 29, five days early of its release date.

EA Access has more than just early access to games as incentives for users. It also allows members access to selected game contents by the game publisher, reported GameSpot. Membership to EA access is available on a monthly basis of $5 (approx. AU$ 6.91) or on an annual basis of $30 (approx. AU$ 41.47).

Members enjoy many incentives like a 10 percent discount on digital content, access to games before their actual release dates and access to EA’s rapid growing catalogue of free releases. However, the downside is that the subscription service is only available for Xbox One members. Currently, PS4 fans do not have this option since Sony denied EA Access for PlayStation 4. According to the company, the service did not represent good value to the PS4 gamer.

The new “Need For Speed” by Ghost Games and EA also includes the new BMW M2 Coupe. For gamers who preorder the game, a BMW M3 E46 will also be available to them in the game for playing and for complete customisation. The final car from the German brand included in the game is the BMW M4, reported BidnessEtc.

The game however, has an arbitrary requirement of needing to stay connected to the Internet while playing. However, it’s not clear if the AI gameplay is available offline, so players will have to wait until the game is released. Ghost Games terms the upcoming racing game as a complete reboot to the “Need for Speed” franchise.

It provides the player with elements that made the racing franchise famous and also includes complete customisation of the in-game cars. Players need not worry about microtransactions as Ghost Games will bring in free future updates and content post-launch.

The PS4 edition of the game will be available on Nov. 3. However, PC users would need to wait, since the game has been delayed to 2016.
