"NCIS Los Angeles" Season 6, episode 3 "Praesidium" aired on Monday, Oct. 13, 2014. It focused once again on the Naval Criminal Investigative Service, or "NCIS" team in L.A. including "NCIS" Special Agents G. Callen (Chris O'Donnell), Sam Hanna (LL COOL J), Kensi Blye (Daniela Ruah), LAPD Detective Marty Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen), "NCIS" Intelligence Analyst Nell Jones (Renée Felice Smith), Tech Operator Eric Beale (Barrett Foa), NCIS Assistant Director Owen Granger (Miguel Ferrer) and Henrietta "Hetty" Lange (Linda Hunt). Read on for the "NCIS Los Angeles" Season 6 recap of episode 3 "Praesidium" to find out what happened to Callen, Sam and company.

"NCIS Los Angeles" Season 6, episode 3 "Praesidium" was written by R. Scott Gemmill and Erin Broadhurst. It was directed by Dennis Smith. Here's what happened in "Praesidium." The "NCIS Los Angeles" team had to protect Hetty and one way of doing that is for Nell to go undercover as her. Also, the Department of Justice continued to investigate the entire team. Plus, "NCIS" Director Leon Vance (Rocky Carroll) delivered some news to Hetty who was still in Washington, D.C. Vance told Hetty that the investigations on her were done to protect her and get her safely out of Los Angeles. Unfortunately, Hetty's personal guard got killed in the process.

Hetty also had to do some sneaky things to try and help out her mates and get to the bottom of things. She pretended to collapse during a hearing to temporarily get out of that place. Of course, there were some "Kensi" moments. Kensi and Deeks slept and woke up together at Kensi's place. And, Kensi also cried in front of Deeks. In turn, Deeks consoled her.

The "NCIS Los Angeles" team also discovered that it was Mattias Draeger (Jürgen Prochnow) who wanted Hetty dead. He was responsible for killing Hetty's fake husband Branston Cole/ Bernstrom Kohl (Raymond J. Barry). They have yet to find out the reason why Draeger wants Hetty out of the picture for good.
