The NBA 2014-2015 season is just a few days away and periodically, changing the landscape of the NBA before an upcoming season is expected. Here are some of the biggest names in NBA who will be wearing new uniforms this season.

LeBron James

Career Stats: PPG: 27.5, APG: 6.9, RPG: 7.2

Previous: Miami Heat

Present: Cleveland Cavaliers

LeBron James disappointed his fans when he left the Cleveland Cavaliers for the Miami Heat but with his four years in Miami, he led the franchise to four consecutive NBA final appearances and two NBA titles. When the Miami Heat lost to the San Antonio Spurs last season, LeBron James re-signed with the Cleveland Cavaliers and claimed that he will never leave Miami for any other team except for Cleveland and it felt like "coming home."

Jeremy Lin

Career Stats: PPG: 10.8, RPG: 3.5, APG: 6.0

Previous: Houston Rockets

Present: Los Angeles Lakers

Jeremy Lin $15 million contract with the Houston Rockets expired and he shipped out of the team to make room for a max contract signing of both Chris Bosh and Chandler Parsons, which eventually did not materialise. The Los Angeles Lakers scored the new starting point guard at a great price, where he will be mentored by the two-time MVP Steve Nash.

Kevin Love

Career Stats: PPG: 19.2, RPG: 12.2, APG: 4.4

Previous: Minnesota Timberwolves

Present: Cleveland Cavaliers

Although Kevin Love was prolific scorer and a skilled rebounder at the Minnesota Timberwolves, he became frustrated with failing to make it to the playoffs in his entire time with the franchise. As such, when LeBron James signed in Cleveland, he was drawn to play with the team and the Timberwolves shipped him out.

Paul Pierce

Career Stats: PPG: 16.4, RPG: 6.3, RPG: 2.2

Previous: Brooklyn Nets

Present: Washington Wizards

Paul Pierce spent his entire career with the Boston Celtics before he was traded to the Brooklyn Nets in 2013. After a season with the franchise, he became a free agent and then, instead of retiring, he joined the Washington Wizards. He is the veteran leader in the team and he is hopeful to lead them further this season.

Pau Gasol

Career Stats: PPG: 11.4, RPG: 8.30, APG: 2.3

Previous: Los Angeles Lakers

Present: Chicago Bulls

Aside from LeBron James, Pau Gasol is one of the most intriguing free agent signing of the season. Due to the struggles of the Los Angeles Lakers last season, Pau Gasol signed a three-year contract with the Chicago Bulls, which gave the franchise the most talented frontcourts with defensive presence of Taj Gibson and Joakim Noah. Furthermore, because Chicago Bulls did not lose a significant piece to acquire Pau Gasol, he will not disrupt the offensive flow of the team.
