"Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" will get a new update. Bandai Namco

The ninja adventure from “Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4” is far from over, thanks to the newly announced DLC. Dubbed “Road to Boruto,” the new expansion will be developer Bandai Namco’s way of delivering some new content into the last of the series.

According to Gematsu, the game will have a first-print copies that will contains codes for “Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4” and the Road to Boruto special soundtrack. The first-print editions also supposedly come with a reversible jacket.

There are other bonuses to look forward to. In commemoration of two million copies shipped worldwide, the original game will have a “Welcome Price!!” edition coming on Nov. 22.

Since “Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4” is already out, some players may not want to own the entire game again. This is why the DLC as a standalone may be the best option. The Package version is good for those who have yet to experience the game and want some exclusive bonuses, as well as the new DLC.

All of the new releases will have a first-print limited edition downloadable soundtrack. This can be obtained when downloaded anytime from Feb. 2, 2017 to March 1, 2017. Fans should note that the DLC updates and editions will only be available for the PS4.

For those who are heading to the Tokyo Game Show 2016, there’s a chance to sample the DLC. From Sept. 15 to 18, fans can demo the fight between Sasuke and Kishiki. There will also be a trailer coming during the event, so fans can check out what’s in store with the new update.

“Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4” Road to Boruto DLC will be out on Feb. 2, 2017 for Japan. It will be out a day later on Feb. 3 for fans in North America and Europe at US$19.99 (approx. AU$26.48).
