“Mr Robot” is sure to air its third season this year and theories on what happens next on USA Network's drama thriller keep on coming. It would be interesting to see if Elliot (Rami Malek) could ever forgive Tyrell (Martin Wallström) in “Mr Robot” season 3 for shooting him in the second season.

“Mr Robot” season 3 has ended with a shocking revelation. Viewers have learned that Tyrell is actually alive. Tyrell is determined to show Elliot the second phase of the plan to take E Corp down. All of a sudden, he had mistakenly thought that Elliot was part of his hallucinations and opted to shoot him in the chest. But before the shooting took place, he has attempted to tell him that he was out and he wanted nothing to do with the heist. But the other man still decided to pull the trigger.

Series creator Sam Esmail has teased fans about whether Elliot will forgive Tyrell or not in “Mr Robot” season 3. He said the latter’s move was inevitable and he must face the consequences of his decisions. Esmail has stressed though that Tyrell loved Elliot. He did not have any intentions to harm him. But it seemed hurting him was inevitable and Tyrell has ended up doing what he felt was not right.

“When Tyrell shot him, he didn't want to shoot him,” he said. Esmail has explained that Wallström’s character thought he has given Elliot the fulfilment that he's always been looking for. Fans can recall that when he shot Elliot, he was literally in tears.

Although no official release date has been set for “Mr Robot” season 3 yet, fans of the show will be on the lookout for what else the show can offer. “Mr Robot” season 2 has won several awards to date. At the 2016 Golden Globes, it won as Best Television Series and Best Performance for supporting actor Christian Slater. The series also received nominations for Slater in the same category and for Rami Malek for best performance in a lead role. Mac Quayle, on the other hand, has grabbed Outstanding Music Composition for a Series at the Primetime Emmys.

“Mr Robot” follows the story of Elliot, a young programmer and cybersecurity engineer. He was recruited by an underground hacker group. “Mr Robot” season 2 aired on Showcase in Australia. Official air date for the third season is expected to be announced in the near future.
