Xiaomi, also referred as Apple of China, is the company that comes to mind when talking about Apple-like devices that come with affordable price tags. However, when it comes to making a replica of Apple devices, there is a competition to Xiaomi -- and it's none other than Lenovo . Notably, Lenovo is also a Chinese conglomerate. However, in comparison, the company is much bigger than Xiaomi. Plus, Lenovo is a brand recognised outside China as well and it is the fourth largest smartphone-maker in the world.

Lenovo is working on a mid-range smartphone named "Sisley." Quite recently, the leaked images of Lenovo Sisley started making waves in the blogosphere. And the resemblance of the handset to Apple's iPhone 6 is quite obvious from all possible outlooks. Apparently, the upcoming device will sport the much-loved metal chassis to give the premium look, according to Phone Arena.

When it comes to key specifications, the Lenovo Sisley will reportedly feature a 5-inch display complemented by 1,280 x 720 pixels resolution. The smartphone will sport a 13 MP rear-facing camera unit and a killer 8 MP front-facing snapper for capturing crystal-clear selfies. In addition, there is a LED flash near the camera unit. The smartphone will be an ultra-thin device with 6.9 mm thickness, which is again similar to the slender Apple iPhone 6 Plus. Even though both handsets share similar thickness metric, Sisley's camera is not protruding out like the one seen in iPhone 6 Plus, points out Cult Of Android.

Moving on to colour, the handset will come in blue, white, pink, orange and gray, among others. It is interesting to note that black hue is not part of the list. Apart from the standard connectivity options, the phone will support 4G LTE capability along with China-specific LTE networks. Plus, the device will support dual-SIM mode. In retrospect, Lenovo acquired Motorola Mobility from Google very recently. Therefore it is easy to point out that with the timely acquisition, the company's market reach has been expanded. However, Lenovo has not seen any success with smartphones in the recent past. Based on the roadmap leak pertaining to the company, Lenovo Sisley was spotted as one of the upcoming devices. Hence, it would be interesting to see how Lenovo utilises Motorola's credibility in the smartphones arena and bring out the best devices in the near future, says Android Headlines.

Other than the smartphones, Lenovo unveiled the popular products Yoga Tablet 2 and Yoga Tablet 2 Pro recently. The highlight, however, is that Product engineer and actor Ashton Kutcher introduced the affordably-priced devices. To read more about Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 Pro click here.
