How Does Moto Care Accident Protection Works?

Motorola posted the details on how does Moto Care Accident Protection works on eligible devices. Extended warranty varies on which network carrier is offering and currently unavailable for Verizon devices.

Moto Care covers operational and mechanical breakdowns of the device and accidents that affect functionality of the device such as drops or spills -- accessories excluded. A deductible of $39 must be paid per incident but users do not need to pay for any in-warranty claims. In case the device is impossible to be repaired, Motorola will provide a replacement device at the discretion of the technicians and that replacement device will continue the active warranty, not to start again.

Acts of War or Acts of God, damages from unapproved upgrades, software or application programs including rooting the OS are also not covered by the warranty program.
