Motorola has announced the launch of its second generation of Android Wear watches, the new Moto 360, at IFA 2015 in Germany. The new Moto 360 collection touts an aesthetic look with various stylish applications.

The refined classic timepiece comes with innumerable design specifications and can be fully customised in the Moto Maker design studio with additional bezels, colours and types of bands. Motorola has introduced a watch collection specifically designed for men, women and fitness enthusiasts. The quick-release bands help users easily swap from leather to metal variants to match the attire. Motorola said in the press release that the new Moto 360

The Moto 360 is powered by Android Wear. The user can easily take a quick look to see notifications and emails. Stylish applications, like MyFord mobile app, Kevo app, Lyft and Delta app, are interesting additions to the WiFi-enabled new device.

The Moto 360 Sport, which is specially designed for fitness enthusiasts, has a built-in GPS which accurately tracks running speed, distance and pace. The device features a heart rate monitor, and the users can even store and play music from the smartwatch. The smartwatch houses a silicon band with UV coating, which prevents staining and fading, along with a special AnyLight hybrid display that gives a clear view even in bright sunlight, reports Android Central .

The new Moto 360 collection will be available across North America, Latin America, Europe and Asia. Further specifications on Moto 360 Sport will be shared by the company soon.

Potential buyers in the US can pre-order the Moto 360 on Motorola.com, Google Play and BestBuy.com. Starting September, it will be available at Nordstrom, Best Buy and Verizon with varying ship times based on the style of the watch. Prices will also vary in regions and it ranges between $299.99 (AU $427) and $429.99 (AU $612).
