Potential buyers of Moto X Pure Edition can start making pre-orders tomorrow for the Moto X Pure Edition using the Moto Maker service. It enables customization of the exterior parts of the smartphone and an option to get more internal storage.

Moto X Pure Edition Pre-Orders starts in United States Tomorrow at $399

Motorola announced the pre-orders of Moto X Pure Edition in the United States tomorrow with starting price of $399. Buyers will need to reserve the device using the Moto Maker service which is unlocked and compatible for all major networks. For other territories, Moto X Pure Edition will be sold in another name called Moto X Style.

Moto Maker service in the United States enables a user to customize how Moto X Pure Edition will look like such as having favorite hues, premium materials like Saffiano leathers from the leather company Horween or real wood. It can also be customized to have metallic accent colors, engrave the user’s name or add more storage.

Moto X Pure Edition Features and Technical Specifications

Moto X Pure Edition features pure Android user experience with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS, immersive stereo sound on the front-facing speakers with SmartBoost, fast charging using TurboPower technology and a water repellent coating. It is powered by a 1.8 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 hexa-core processor, 600 Mhz Adreno 418 graphics processing unit and 3 GB of RAM. Storage capacity varies from 16 GB up to 64 GB with 128 GB microSD card support and battery pack with 3000 mAh capacity. It has 5.7 inches of IPS LCD display screen with QHD or 1440 by 2560 display resolution, 520 pixel per inch quality and protected Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

Mobile photography includes a 21 MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, Phase Detect Auto-Focus, dual LED flash, 4X digital zooming, Burst mode, Auto HDR, video stabilization, slow motion video recording, 4K video and video HDR for 1080p resolution and 4K. Its 5 MP front shooter features f/2.0 aperture, wide-angle lens, 1.4um pixel for improved low lighting captures, Night mode, LED flash and slow motion video recording.
