Motorola is finally making its way back to Australia with its flagship Moto X Smartphone. The striking quality of this Smartphone got to be the perfect mix of "Mororola's hardware" and "Google's software" usage. Hence users get to enjoy the best of both worlds.

Specifications:

Moto X boasts a 4.7-inch, 1280 x 720 display, with a 1.7GHz dual-core processor, 2GB RAM and it runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. The phone also features a 10MP rear camera and 2MP front camera.

According to Techradar, the Moto X Smartphone lists the 16GB variety for Australian audience, while the other world counterparts can choose from either 16GB or 32GB of internal storage. Nevertheless, you get 50GB of Google Drive storage, in addition to the 15GB of free cloud storage that all Google account holders enjoy.

Peculiar Features:

Moto X is known for its "prolonged battery life" and "spontaneous voice command" option. The Smartphone memorizes your voice and responds back without having to turn the screen on. With this feature, you can ask if you need to take an umbrella outside and the phone will respond with a detailed weather report. According to John Demezieres, Account Director Motorola Mobility Australia, "Moto X fuses our history of mobile innovation with the best of Google mobile services to create experiences that no other Smartphone can match."

The Smartphone has the ability to work with "Motorola Connect extension" for "Google Chrome" which lets the user to read and respond to text messages via your computer, akin to how iMessage works with your iPhone.

Launch Date & Price:

Moto X will be available in Australia for $549 from late March, 2014.

Color Options:

At present, there are only two options to choose between: black or white.

Is this Phone Customizable?

The exclusive option to design the handsets with personalized messages, patterned or wooden panels on the back and an array of colored accents to choose from, by utilizing Moto Maker website is available only to North American customers.

As per Techradar, since the phone will only be available from selected retailers in Australia, it is doubtful if Aussies might get a chance to customize as per their requirement.

However, Motorola making a return to the Smartphone market in Australia is a welcome move.
