Official Android 4.4.4 KitKat For Motorola Moto G 2013 Rolling Out

Users of the Motorola Moto G 2013 smartphone model are now receiving the official Android 4.4.4 KitKat via Over the Air process. Official website of the company posted the change logs of Android 4.4.4 KitKat firmware containing new features, enhancements and bug fixes for Moto G.

- Android 4.4.4 KitKat and its latest features including accuracy improvements to the power profile, several stability, framework and security fixes with update to OpenSSL.

- Camera pause and resume button on video recording added on the camera app viewfinder.

- Updated phone dialler with a new graphical layout and colours to improve consistency and usability.

- Enables the Motorola Alert Application download to send users periodic alerts of current location to selected contacts only. Downloadable via Google Play Store.

Connecting the smartphone to mobile data or Wi-Fi will prompt the user of a new firmware version. But in case no notification has been received, go to Settings > About Phone > System Updates > Download to retrieve and install the new firmware version 210.12.40.
