Smartwatches with round-dial from Motorola and LG are about to hit the store shelves pertaining to American markets. The Motorola Moto 360 and LG G Watch R are heading to AT&T. It is worth mentioning that, smartwatches with square-dial are aplenty, but, when it comes to round-dial, the choices are very limited. Owing to the fact that, technically, it is hard to manufacture round dials.

Apparently, the letter "R" in the "LG G Watch R" denotes the round design. Furthermore, the number "360" in the "Moto 360" stands for 360 degrees, which translates to a circle. Potential buyers can avail the LG G Watch R from AT&T's online store starting Nov. 5. Plus, this wearable gadget can also be purchased from AT&T's brick and mortar stores from Nov. 7, according to Phone Arena.

Both LG and Motorola smartwatches are powered by Google's Android Wear OS for wearable devices. The LG G Watch R features a 1.3-inch rounded display. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor and backed by 512 MB of RAM. The gadget comes equipped with 4 GB of internal storage capacity and it is held together by a good 410 mAh battery unit. Adding a cherry on top, the watch comes with IP67 certification, meaning it can survive water submersion of roughly 3.2 feet and can last for about 30 minutes in that depth. Speaking of price, the LG G Watch R smartwatch can be purchased for $299.

On the other hand, the Motorola Moto 360 can be purchased from AT&T's online and retail stores from Nov. 7. Notably, the Moto 360 is priced at $249. This device comes with a slightly bigger display of 1.56-inch, when compared to the LG device. It is powered by a TI OMAP 3 processor and backed by the same 512 MB of RAM. For its memory, the device houses the same 4 GB of in-built storage, and it comes equipped with a relatively inferior 320 mAh battery unit.

Additionally, AT&T is offering a duo-deal. Upon purchasing a Motorola Moto X smartphone, AT&T will deduct $50 from the original price of the Moto 360, making it a handsome $199.

Are you planning to purchase the Moto 360 or the LG G Watch R? Feel free to leave a comment.
