Last month, NetherRealm officially revealed all four of the “Mortal Kombat X” DLC characters, including Tanya, Tremor and horror icons Jason Voorhees and The Predator. New information has provided specific dates, detailing when gamers will be able to get their hands on the DLC.

The news comes via Test Your Might user n-megabytes, who received an email from EB Games Australia detailing the Season Pass DLC and associated release dates for the individual characters. As noted by n-megabytes, due to the time difference between Australia, the U.K. and the U.S., all times listed may be off by as much as one day.

On April 26, Jason Voorhees will be the first DLC character added, under the “MASKDMURDER Pack.” Two weeks later on May 10, “Klassic Pack #1” will arrive with Black Dragon ninja, Tremor. On May 24, the “HUNTERPREY Pack” will see the long-awaited release of The Predator DLC pack, before the final piece of DLC is added on June 7, with Tanya and the “Klassic Pack #2.”

Fans will no doubt be eagerly awaiting official gameplay trailers that show off the four DLC characters’ movesets, but until then they’ll have to make do with the official Kombat Pack trailer that revealed them last month. Thankfully, in a recent interview with YouTube celebrity Angry Joe, “Mortal Kombat” producer Ed Boon said that gamers would get a chance to sample DLC characters before buying them, thanks to the game’s Challenge Towers mode.

“Every day when you come on, there's going to be three Towers in the Living Towers section, one changes every hour, one changes every day, and one is called a Premiere Tower, which is like an event tower. So for instance, if Jason comes along, we're going to have a Jason Tower, where you play as Jason and fight up in it and you can even use that tower if you didn't even purchase Jason,” he said.

Gamer’s will need to do more than just sample characters if they hope to stand a chance of winning the recently announced $100,000 prize-pool “MKX” tournament. As noted by Siliconera, the event, called the “Who’s Next? Mortal Kombat X Worldwide Competitive Program,” is split into three tournaments: the Fatal 8 Exhibition Tournament, the “Mortal Kombat X” ESL Pro League Tournament and the “Mortal Kombat” Cup.

The Fatal 8 Exhibition Tournament starts on April 11, in Burbank, California, while the ESL Pro League Tournament begins April 19 and is open to Xbox One players from North America and Europe. Finally, the the “Mortal Kombat” Cup series of live tournaments span 17 countries, running from April all the way through July 5. Gamer’s can get more information on all three tournaments on the event’s official website.

Fans eager for even more “Mortal Kombat” action can check out the newly released Briggs Family trailer, uploaded to the RajmanGaming HD YouTube channel. The short trailer introduces father and daughter Jackson and Jacquiline Briggs, and highlights some of their story beats in the game. “Mortal Kombat X” launches on PS4, Xbox One and PC on April 14, while the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the game have been delayed to the summer.
