The "Harry Potter" film adaptations may have come to an end but the magic continues in books that still continue to sell out all over bookstores around the world.

Now that "Twilight" is close to its end as well this coming November, fans have only "The Hunger Games" hype to look forward to. However, thanks to Cassandra Clare and "The Mortal Instruments", avid readers and movie goers will have so much to look forward to.

J.K. Rowling introduced the world to magnificent worlds of magic, magicians and magnanimous wonders of friendship, bravery and loyalty. On the other hand, Stephanie Meyer wrapped the world around her finger with a love story between a vampire and a human - the insistent werewolf somewhere in between. As for Suzanne Collins, her best-selling post apocalyptic novel has taught and continues to teach the power of hope and bravery.

While the "Harry Potter" and "Twilight" hype have died down, the hype for fresh meat, particularly in this case - "The Hunger Games" is on an all-time high. The first film which starred Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth gained massive support. Days after the film hit the theaters, fandom groups grew in number along with book sales.

Now, "The Hunger Games" sequel, "Catching Fire" is set for a November 2013 release which is a long wait. While fans do await the film to hit the big screen, there's another book set for a film adaptation and the fan base as of now is surprisingly humungous.

Cassandra Clare has introduced the world to Shadowhunters, a rare breed of humans and angels of which are called Nephilim. It holds quite the resemblance to the books "Hush Hush" by author Becca Fitzpatrick. The better twist that Cassandra Clare has is that there's more to Nephilim that meets the eye. To count, there are over six books available in the market, the seventh and supposedly the last book is set for a 2014 release.

So what should fans of "The Mortal Instruments" look forward to apart from the seventh book? Well, a film adaptation starring Lily Collins as the main female lead is already in the works. The highly-anticipated film release is set by August 2013.

Check out the awesome cast and do catch up on the hype because once the "Games" are over, the Shadowhunters will surely take over. Do check out the official website for "The Mortal Instruments" here.
