Miss World 2014 top ten semi-finalists have been announced. Here are the beauties that made it to top 10: Miss Australia, Miss Mexico, Miss USA, Miss Kenya, Miss Hungry, Miss Brazil, Miss Guyana, Miss England, Miss South Africa and Miss India.

The brief details about the contestants who made it to Miss World 2014 top 10:

Miss Australia, Courtney Thorpe, is studying mass communication and also works as a freelance writer and fashion stylist. The 24-year-beauty loves sharing her opinion about fashion and has worked as a fashion editor for an international publication. She has written a series of children books. In her spare time, she indulges in outdoor activities, according to Miss World's official page.

Miss Mexico, Daniela Alvarez, wants to make a career in television. She has a flair for music. Miss Mexico loves playing flute and piano. She also knows jazz dancing. The 20-year-old beauty is an avid reader and her favourite books are "The Alchemist," "The Outsiders," and "The Knight in Rusty Armour." Miss USA, Elizabeth Safrit, is working as a lobbyist and she wants to become a political broadcaster. She loves to keep her body fit by doing Bikram Yoga. She also goes for a regular run and is a trained Pointe Ballet dancer.

Miss Kenya, Idah Nguma, wants to pursue a career in marketing. She is a beauty with brains. She loves to solve Sudoku and Cluedo in her free time. Miss Hungary, Edina Kulcsar, wants to become an actress. She enjoys hiking and horse riding. She loves to eat healthy food but not many know that she ignores the healthy part of the food when it comes to burger. One burger is not enough for her.

Miss Brazil, Júlia Gama is chemical engineer and has a goal to become a diplomat. She took part in the beauty pageant as the "Beauty with a Purpose" program inspired her. Miss Guyana, Rafieya Husain, is a business administration student. She loves travelling and in her free time she likes to practice archery.

Miss England, Carina Tyrell, is a medicine student and she wants to become a global health doctor. Miss South Africa, Rolene Strauss, who is the hot favourite to win 2014 Miss World, is also a medical student. She wants to establish health care facilities, which will focus on women's health. And, Miss India, Koyal Rana, is a founder of NGO-Moksha foundation. She wants to contribute to the world through her social work. She holds a finance degree from Harvard University.
