Monika Radulovic will be representing Australia at the 64th Miss Universe pageant, scheduled to be held on Dec. 20, 2015 at Las Vegas. She was crowned Miss Universe Australia 2015 in June.

Radulovic, a psychology graduate from University of Western Sydney, will be competing against 80 beauties from all across the world to win the coveted Miss Universe 2015 crown. She is being seen as a potential winner.

The national costume that Radulovic will be wearing at the Miss Universe 2015 pageant is inspired by Dame Edna, according to Sunrise. Sydney designer Timothy Cubbo has designed the costume, and it was chosen via public voting.

Miss Universe Australia 2015 is quite active on social media, and she regularly share her photos from Las Vegas on her Instagram account. She recently shared a photo featuring herself and Miss Universe Paulina Vega Dieppa.

Radulovic was the third runner-up last year at Miss Universe Australia 2014 pageant, and if she wins this year's competition, she will be the third miss universe from Australia. Kerry Anne Wells won the title in 1972, and Jennifer Hawkins in 2004.

The 25-year-old came to Australia from Bosnia Herzegovina at the age of four as a refugee when the Bosnian war started in the erstwhile Yugoslavia. Sydney Morning Herald quoted her as saying after her Miss Universe Australia win, “They [parents] literally left everything behind, they packed a small suitcase and fled. They arrived in Australia with nothing.”

Speaking about Australia, Radulovic told missuniverse.com, “Most people don’t know how multicultural the beautiful country of Australia is. Australia’s population of 23 million is one of the most culturally and linguistically diverse population in the world.I am proud of Australia’s multiculturalism.”

The Miss Universe 2015 pageant will be aired on Seven Network in Australia on Dec. 20.
