Miss Philippines Ariella Arida is not the only Filipina that is after the crown for this year's most prestigious beauty pageant. It was reported a few months ago that Miss Canada Riza Santos and Miss Gabon Ruth Jennifer Ondo Mouchita are the two contestants with Filipino blood, but wait there's more, Miss Guam Alixes Scott is the newest Filipina on the block who is also competing for the same crown.

Just today, Arida posted on her Instagram and Twitter account (@araarida) her picture with the two Filipino beauties, Miss Canada and Miss Guam, with a caption "Mabuhay ang Pinay" which means Long Live Filipinas.

Based on the latest news, Ara Arida and Riza Santos are going to share the same room which could be interesting for both beauty queens. And it seems that the two are getting along well, including Miss Guam Alexis Scott who joined the duo for a pictorial.

The three are bonding together in Moscow and hopefully this could lead to a good friendship where the three could watch each other's back as the competition further heats up. The question now is, where is Miss Gabon? It seems that the African beauty is not quite active, but then again it's too early to tell.

Alexis Scott is the youngest among the Filipina contestants, the 18-yearold beauty queen is a world-traveler who loves the great outdoor and adventures; like spelunking, hiking, swimming and playing ruby and volleyball. She just graduated high school from Our Lady of Guam and plans to continue her education at the University of Guam where she hopes to study dermatology.

She was crowned as Miss Guam on September 16, 2013 which was held in Hyatt Regency Guam in Tamuning. She grew up in the town of Tumon and bested 9 other contestants for the Miss Guam title; she also got the award for Best Swimwear and Best Evening Gown.

Now that there are four Filipinas vying for the crown, the chances for a Filipino beauty to get the crown is getting bigger. Filipinos are indeed a force to reckon with. So let the battle of Filipino beauties begin!
