The winners of Miss Universe 2012 have finally been announced. The prestigious event was held at the where it was hosted by Andy Cohen and Giuliana Rancic. 89 women competed for the highly-esteemed crown but of course only one managed to snag the crown, Miss USA. Yet, a lot of people have been claiming it as an unfair win. So who should have won?

Americans are proudly celebrating the big win of Miss USA, Olivia Culpo but not everyone is on the same page. Some have been claiming it as an unfair win given Donald Trump is head of the Miss Universe pageant and an American at that. For those who still don't know the nights' official winners for Miss Universe 2012, they are as follows:

Fourth Runner Up: Miss Brazil: Gabriela Markus
Third Runner Up: Miss Australia: Renae Ayris
Second Runner Up: Miss Venezuela: Irene Esser
First Runner Up: Miss Philippines: Janine Tugonon
Miss Universe 2012: Miss USA: Olivia Culpo

If everyone else could have chosen the winners, who would they be?

Some have been screaming Miss Kosovo, Diana Avdiu for the win but unfortunately the Kosovo native only managed to hit until the top sixteen. Miss Australia, Renae Ayris was also a potential winner for the crown but her answer at the question and answer portion failed to give any impact thus losing her chance for the crown.

Of course, Filipinos are quite mad with the results given their country's representative, Janine Tugonon, had quite the powerful answer for the Q&A portion of the event. Nigel Barker had asked the question of which was, "Do you believe that speaking English should be a prerequisite for Miss Universe 2012?"

Miss Philippines' answer caused eruption of screams and cheers from the crowd. Tugonons' answer is as follows:

"For me, being Miss Universe is not just about knowing how to speak a specific language. It's about being able to influence and inspire other people. If you have a heart to serve and a strong mind to show people then you can be Miss Universe."

This answer could have won Miss Philippines the crown but of course not all the judges were pleased. When will they ever be? If Miss USA wasn't even in the top sixteen to the top five, Janine Tugonon could have easily won the crown. Better luck next time to future representatives of each country and congratulations once more to Miss USA, Olivia Culpo.
