Miss Universe pageants would show you women with long beautiful hair, perfect stature and body and a wonderful smile. But one of this year's Miss Universe candidates, Miss Switzerland is defying something that has been a tradition in the Miss Universe pageant.

Over the years, candidates from all over the world would showcase their looks in wonderful gowns and their hair in a bun, a straight up ponytail, long flowing hair or simple curls in their hair, but Miss Switzerland has something different.

Dominique Rinderknecht who won the Miss Switzerland Universe pageant is one of the most talked about Miss Universe contestants. She is known as one of the sexiest and most talked about candidate in this year's Miss Universe pageant as she is goes against one of the norms: having short hair.

There is nothing stated in the rules of the coveted pageant that women should support long hair to be able to qualify, but it has not been done in any of these pageants as they traditionally believe that women should wear their hair long and proud. Miss Switzerland, though not wanting to defy any traditions in the pageant, wants to win the crown in her own style and she is doing just that.

She oozes femininity that is needed as a representative of her country. The blonde Swiss lady is known for her fashionable and fun side that is captivating. Would this be able to win her the crown?

We can't wait to see if Miss Switzerland would make history with her short blonde hair and erase the stereotype that women should just have long hair to prove their femininity.
