Australian supermodel Miranda Kerr expressed her support for the cause to capture the top global war criminal Joseph Kony.

On her Facebook account, the Victoria's Secret pin-up girl posted that she and the rest of the KORA Organics Team purchased the Action Kit from the Invisible Children website.

The model also asked her friends and followers to watch the short film that went viral. The model closed the post with motivating words of "Get involved and get inspired."

Joseph Kony is the leader of the guerilla army in Uganda and is behind the "Lord's Resistance Army" (LRA). He is on the top stop on the list of war criminals sought by the International Criminal Court.

For the past 26,000 years, Kony is behind the abduction of 30,000 children in Uganda. The children are turned into guerilla soldiers aimed to protect Kony and to help him gain power. The young girls are turned into sex slaves. Today, Kony is facing charges for murder, abduction, rape and other human rights charges.

Invisible Children is an organization aimed at advocating the arrest of Joseph Kony. Founder John Russell has been working to raise awareness about Kony and his crimes. John Russel made a video of KONY 2012 in order to make Joseph Kony famous and make him a household name.

This April 20, Russell plans to mobilize thousands of people to "blanket every street in every city" overnight with pictures and information of Kony, who is currently in hiding. An Action Kit contains some of the tools that will be used to increase the awareness for Joseph Kony and his crimes.

Hollywood celebrities also expressed their support for the KONY 2012. Powerful and influential woman Oprah tweeted, "Thanks tweeps for sending me info about ending #LRAviolence. I am aware. Have supported with $'s and voice and will not stop.#KONY2012."

"The Vampire Diaries'" star Nina Dobrev tweeted, "I'm going to ask EVERY PERSON WHO FOLLOWS ME to Please watch this video. Its incredibly important, I know that every one of you will be effected by its message. I wont even have to ask you to RT because I know you will. #stopkony and save the children. I've got close to 1.9 Million followers, if you all watch this and help in the smallest way it will make the BIGGEST LIFE SAVING DIFFERENCE."

People commented positively on the Miranda Kerr's post. One of the commenters said, "Your [sic] an angel for posting this :) To those who speak bad "shame on you" They need the money to raise awareness! Look at what they have done already schools, aid, and a tower to alert when the rebels are coming. The biggest thing Jason an...d his crew have given is hope ! And while you try to crush it with your negativity it just makes me want to fight harder for the kony 2012 campaign!! Xoxoxo much love to those who support ;)"

Another commenter said, "Yes, a large portion of Invisible Children's funds go toward the making of videos and toward the advocacy campaigns. That's a major part of what they do. They spread the word about the conflict in Africa and make people aware of Joseph Kony... and the LRA. And I think that's a great thing. I learned about this conflict back in 2007 because of Invisible Children's efforts & I'm glad that they are still spreading the word five years later. If people from all over the world are demanding that Kony be stopped, then it will become a priority. Invisible Children understands that, and they are making it happen! Good for you, Miranda, for supporting what you believe in!"
