Will Fashion Modelling Take the Back Seat for Miranda Kerr?
Model Miranda Kerr said in an interview she is confident she has other career options to lean on aside from being a full-time model.
In an interview posted by The Herald Sun, model Miranda Kerr says she has a lot going on, even if her post-baby body didn't bounce back to her Victoria's Secret Angel physique. "It's funny, but I really didn't mind if my body didn't go back to what it was before," gushes Kerr in the interview as posted by THS. Kerr added that her post-baby body returned to her sleek figure thanks to pilates, yoga, and an organic diet. Kerr added that she already considered working full-time on her organic cosmetics line and writing her book.
"I had decided during the pregnancy that between my skincare range, Kora Organics, and my book, Treasure Yourself, that there were plenty of other things I could do in my life." says the model in the interview. Another thing she mentioned is her focus on keeping her son healthy no matter how much it took a toll on her body. After a guest appearance on a radio show, Kerr hurriedly returned to the hotel where she's staying to breastfeed seven-month-old Flynn.
"My priority after giving birth was just to be healthy and for Flynn to be healthy." adds Kerr in the same post. The Victoria's Secret angel also pointed out that new moms shouldn't be too worried about their bodies after giving birth.
"You can't put pressure on your body to be anything other than what your body is. No one should compare themselves and no one should feel bad about how their body might be different from someone else's after pregnancy." strongly claims the model in the same interview. Just recently, Kerr walked the runway for a "David Jones" event where she wore creations from Lisa Ho and Dionne Lee.
The Aussie model isn't the only one that's quickly slimming down to their pre-baby bodies. Designer and fashion icon, Victoria Beckham, has revealed her secret diet regimen that brought her back to size zero. The report says "Posh" is trying to quickly regain her slim figure in time for New York Fashion Week on Sept. 8 to 15.
