The Missouri grand jury has made a decision on whether to indict white police officer Darren Wilson in the August fatal shooting of the unarmed black teenager Brown in Ferguson, a killing that sparked angry protests in the St. Louis suburb, prosecutors said on Monday. Tens of thousands of marchers across the United States joined the Millions March in New York City on Dec. 13. A time-lapse video showing the view of the procession from New York's Sixth Ave and 29th Street has gone viral

The 28-second video titled “Millions March NYC (Time Lapse)” has been viewed almost 300,000 times since it was published on YouTube right after the procession. The sped-up footage shows around an hour and a half of the mass rally, which lasted for four hours.

Protesting against police brutality in the U.S., the protesters took to the streets of Manhattan to demand justice for the killings of unarmed African-American men by walking four miles before rallying outside New York Police District headquarters.

Police officers were not indicted in two of the cases involving the killing of Michael Brown, Tamir Rice and Staten Island resident Eric Garner by law enforcement. Since a grand jury decided not to indict an NYPD officer in Garner’s death, the Millions March was the largest demonstration in New York City dubbed as the Millions March NYC procession.

The march was led by the families of Brown, Rice and Garner. They held a banner bearing the words, “Black Lives Matter.” From Greenwich Village to midtown and then to NYPD headquarters, the protesters chanted, “I can't breathe!”
