It’s time to feel older than ever: It has been a full decade since the infamous Miley Cyrus made her debut on the small screen as the adorable and talented “Hannah Montana.”

Long before 23-year-old songstress chopped off her hair, donned quirky costumes on concerts, made twerking famous and invaded the social media with her crazy antics, Cyrus won the hearts of Disney fans worldwide when she played the roles of both a famous rock star and an ordinary teenager.

The “Wrecking Ball” singer took to Instagram to pay tribute to her co-stars and everyone involved in the show. In a lengthy post, Cyrus shared an exchange of message between her and “Hannah Montana” actor Jason Earles, who played her big brother. Cyrus wrote, Sending love to all my cast members on this anniversary .... To the world it's a celebration of 10 years but for us the journey began way before the world had any clue who the f--k any of us are.”

She continued, “Even though I feel disconnected to who I was at that time I will always feel eternally grateful for the opportunity and platform I was given. Even though HM is chopped up into little tiny pieces and buried in my backyard she will always hold a very special place in my heart! Celebrate this day with us! Get real drunk and remember #HM4EVR .”

@realdukeofearles understands the insanity of it all..... Sending love to all my cast members on this anniversary .... To the world it's a celebration of 10 years but for us the journey began way  before the world had any clue who the fuck any of us are ..... There was a very long auditioning process, and many chemistry reads which really is what sold the show to the producers and channel because no matter what went on over the years (which none of you have any clue about but It was like the real world but more hormonal teenagers) our love for each other was unquestionable.... Even though I feel disconnected to who I was at that time I will always feel eternally grateful for the opportunity and platform I was given .... None of it would have been possible with out every single person who ever contributed to the series .... From regulars , to special guests (and there were many magical ones @dollyparton _) to creators, crew , directors..... I am where I am because of  loyal fans that I am thankful for and of course love dearly all the new angels who support me now..... Even though HM is chopped up into little tiny pieces and buried in my backyard she will always hold a very special place in my heart! Celebrate this day with us! Get real drunk and remember #HM4EVR __ send pics gettinnnnn buck wild in honor of this special day! ❤ ️ ❤ ️ ❤ ️ #letsplayadrinkinggame watch HM and every time someone says her name take a shot!  Yiew hew!

Earles also shared a series of tweets to show his gratitude for this milestone.

Emily Osment and Mitchel Musso, who played Cyrus’ best friends in the show, became nostalgic as they shared old photos from the show in Instagram.

Osment, who now stars in her own show, “Young & Hungry,” wrote, “Yes, this is what 14 year olds used to look like, no teeth no worries.” Meanwhile, Musso went on a sentimental route, saying, “When I think of family I think of you girls. Thank you for always being my best and always having my back.”

“Hannah Montana” is a Disney musical comedy series which followed the life of Miley Stewart, a teen who is actually a famous recording artist known as Hannah Montana. Cyrus' country singer father Billy Ray Cyrus plays as her dad on the show. The show ran for four seasons, and its last episode aired in January 2011. As a result of its phenomenal success, “Hannah Montana” led to a concert tour and a movie adaptation.
