Now she is lashing out at her un-fans for their rude comments made about the star's 19th birthday party video about her being a pothead. Was what Miley said even true, or was it simply all just a joke, as Kelly Osbourne says?

Kelly says it was all a misunderstanding and simply a Miley joke, squashing all rumors that the singer was indeed a pothead.

What exactly fueled the Twitter war about Cyrus' obsession over pot or her need for weed?

"You know you're a stoner when friends make you a Bob Marley cake. You know you smoke way too much f***ing weed!" said Miley during her 19th birthday party, The Daily reported.

Miley claiming it was an innocent joke backfired making her haters tweet rude comments to her friends.

Friends in this case meaning the 27-year old singer and TV host Kelly Osbourne.

"Please stop bombarding my friends twitter pages with rude comments. NOTHING gives you the right to threaten people. I love u @MissKellyO :)" tweeted Miley in defense of her friend.

Clearly the two are indeed good friends despite the age gap. The "Fashion Police" co-host's' tweet proved she had Miley's back as well.

"@MileyCyrus I love you more!!!!!!! thanx for having my back you know i ALWAYS have yours! Xoxoxoxox" tweeted back Kelly Osbourne.

Miley proves she's no star to be trampled with in the real world and in the virtual realm. She's not only active on Twitter by defending Kelly Osbourne but also her co-star Demi Lovato against Twitter haters calling her fat.

A controversial tweet, along with an equally controversial and disturbing photo, made haters aware of the harm of calling people "fat". Cyrus is also part of the NoH8 Campaign. Miley is surely one tough cookie. Wonder what Liam Hemsworth has to say in all this?
