The heart-adorned gown Miley Cyrus wore to amfAR’s sixth annual Inspiration Gala in New York revealed her touching tribute to her deceased and beloved pet dog, Floyd. The strapless red gown also does little to hide the singer’s long armpit hairs.

According to Mirror UK, all eyes were on Miley Cyrus when she attended the amfAR gala on Tuesday, June 16, to receive recognition for her work for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) community. The singer wore a vibrant red and strapless custom Moschino gown that stood out for itself, because of the huge sequined heart designs covering the dress. However, the site also noted the singer’s tattoo just under her left armpit. Miley “showed off her tribute tattoo to her Alaskan klee kai Floyd who passed away last year while the singer was on tour,” Mirror UK stated.

The site shared a photo of the tattoo which shows an image of Floyd surrounded by the caption, "With a little help from my fwends.” Wayne Coyne, the front man of the band Flaming Lips, and his girlfriend reportedly got the same tattoo with Miley Cyrus during a house party last year.

Underneath Miley Cyrus’ right armpit is another tattoo. The photo shared by Mirror UK showed the singer’s dreamcatcher ink.

Noticeable also with her tattoo photos are her armpit hairs. Miley Cyrus still decided to keep them long despite receiving backlash on the Internet for not shaving her underarm hairs. Cosmopolitan magazine noted how the singer had used her long armpit hairs as her new favourite accessory for the last few months. The publication claimed Miley has “been flaunting” her armpit hairs “every change (sic) she gets.” Cosmopolitan also shared a photo of the pop star raising her arms on stage, revealing the hairs, during her acceptance speech.

Having Miley Cyrus’ “au-naturel” look has reportedly even encouraged other celebrities to ditch their razor and let their armpit hairs grow long. Some of these stars include Madonna, Scout Willis and Jemima Kirke. Jemima followed Miley’s fashion trend and also flaunted her underarm hairs on the red carpet as seen in this photo.
