Stealing the show without leaving her seat, Miley Cyrus didn't it again at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards as she let a homeless guy received her award for Best Video of the Year. Winning the highest award of the night, the twerking queen stunned everyone for completely doing the opposite of her 2013 VMA performance which ignited a lot media buzz.

A recipient of a charitable organization, My Friend's Place, Jesse Helt stole the 2014 VMA show with his touching speech that encourage people to help the 1.6 million runaways and homeless youth in the US taking the back seat for this year's award, Cyrus was teary eyed while watching Jesse making his speech as he nervously holds the microphone.

"My name is Jesse," Jesse told the crowd of people cheering for the singer's victory. "I am accepting this award on behalf of the 1.6 million runaways and homeless youth in the United States who are starving and lost and scared for their lives. I know, because I am one of those people. I have survived in shelters all over this city. The music industry will make over $7 billion this year, and outside these doors are 54,000 human beings who have no place to call home."

With Jesse's speech, Miley Cyrus officially upstaged all performers of the show without doing anything. Based on the report of New York Times, Jesse's appearance was modelled after Marlon Brando's acceptance speech when he won the Oscar for Best Actor for "The Godfather." Instead of making his speech, he had a woman named Sacheen Littlefeather making a speech to protest against movie industry's treatment of Native Americans.

"Now is just the beginning for me," the "We Can't Stop" singer revealed in an effort to spread awareness about youth homelessness. "We gotta start somewhere."

Urging everyone to support My Friend's Place, a charity that helps homeless kids from 12 to 15, Miley is starting a fund-raising campaign via Prizeo.com and whoever donates before Sept. 12 will have a chance to enter a lottery. The ultimate prize is the chance to hang out with Miley Cyrus during her "Bangerz" tour in Rio de Janeiro on Sept. 28.
