While it is natural for the body to sweat, some people, especially athletes regardless if they are male or female, tend to sweat more and get body odor. Recently, Miesha Tate said in an interview that Ronda Rousey has a body odor problem.

TMZ Sports caught up with the former Strikeforce champ during a night-out in Los Angeles. Tate was apparently asked about the issue of body odor in female mixed martial arts, or MMA. At first, Tate was hesitant to reveal who she thinks is the stinkiest female mixed martial artist. However, the TMZ reporter nudged her more and specifically asked her if she thinks Rousey is stinky.

"She actually is," Tate told TMZ. "I'm not going to lie, she really is."

While most body odor can be resolved with over-the-counter deodorants, Tate thinks it doesn't work on Rousey. According to Tate, she didn't smell Rousey's alleged body odor when she fought her, but she remembered it during a world press tour.

Some mixed martial artists actually make use of body odor and even flatulence as a fight strategy. Female MMA fighter revealed to Examiner's Eric Holden in 2013 that some fighters that she has fought girls who had a foul-smelling body odor.

Tate, too, has revealed that her uncle used to talk her into packing cloves of garlic in her cheeks and use them during fights. She said she was told to breathe on her opponents to try to make them turn away and gave her the advantage. However, Tate is not really ecstatic about the idea. She said she doesn't want to be remembered as the "stinky girl of MMA."

Tate had lost to Rousey in both times that they fought. They met for the first time in March 2012. Tate lost to Rousey in the first round. Their second meeting was in December 2013. Tate lost to Rousey again via submission in the third round.

Despite losing to Rousey twice, Tate is reportedly still willing to fight Rousey again, The Telegraph reported in November. She said she will fight Rousey for as many times as UFC will let her until she beats her. Rousey's signature submission has been proven to be too much for Tate and in both of their meetings, but the Tacoma, Washington native is hopeful that she will be in luck the third time that she fights her.
