Is the Middleton Family Bringing Shame to Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge? [PHOTOS]

Because of their party favors business that seems to be riding on various British events and the Royal family's fame, some reports are suggesting that the Middleton family is using their daughter's fame in the wrong ways.

Recently, the Middleton family business, Party Pieces, went into some trouble with the producers of the latest James Bond flick, Skyfall. The small company run by Carole, the Duchess' mum, promoted their site's visitors to have a spy-themed "secret agent parties" in a banner posted in the company's site with Daniel Craig's image seen through the barrel of a gun.

Though it may seem a fun and harmless party idea, the Broccoli family, who owns complete product, image, merchandising and promotion rights related to the movie, had no idea that Party Pieces was using the movie's name for publicity.

"It is not something we comment on but the film makers are very protective of everything they have built up. It is something we take very seriously." said the Broccoli family spokesperson in a post by The Daily Mail.

This is not the first time Party Pieces used a British phenomenon to amp their sales and "over market" with the help of sensationalized media storms. During the Olympic season, the said company illicitly sold Olympic-related items without gaining rights to do so.

After the Daily Mail contacted Party Pieces about the Skyfall issue, the banner was removed from the site's welcome page.

Could this be damaging to Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, who is spending most of her time in developing a fine reputation of grace and elegance?

"The situation is particularly awkward as the Duchess of Cambridge's father-in-law, the Prince of Wales, and his wife, the Duchess of Cornwall, were guests of honour at the royal world premiere of Skyfall last week, where they met Daniel Craig and the Bond cast as well as Miss Broccoli." writes The Daily Mail in the said post.
