Microsoft is set to announce new products at its mega launch event in New York City on Oct. 6. The Redmond giant is expected to launch new Lumia flagship smartphones, the Surface Pro 3 successor and other devices.

According to WM Power User, the event will begin at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time (U.S). In Australia (Canberra), it will start at 00:00 AM. Here is the list of products to be unveiled by Microsoft:

Lumia Smartphones

The Lumia 950 and the Lumia 950 XL will be the major attractions at the Microsoft event. It’s been a long time since the company has released a flagship smartphone.

Both the handsets will come preloaded with Windows 10 Mobile OS. Lumia 950 and the 950 XL will have common features like 3 GB of RAM; native storage of 32 GB; up to 2 GB support on the microSD slot; 20 MP and 5 MP cameras at the front and rear; a USB Type-C connector and an iris scanner.

Lumia 950 will arrive with a 5.2-inch Quad HD display; a Snapdragon 808 chip and a 3,000 mAh battery. The Lumia 950 XL will be fitted with a 5.7-inch Quad HD screen; Snapdragon 810 and a 3,300 mAh battery. Microsoft is also expected to launch a low-budget Lumia 550 at the event.

Surface Pro 4

The Surface Pro 4 is expected to come with two screen sizes: 12-inch and 14-inch. The device will carry a screen resolution of up to 5K pixels and will have very slim bezels, BGR reported.

Both models will be powered by Intel Skylake processors; 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. They will arrive preinstalled with Windows 10 OS.

Other Devices

HoloLens, a smart-glasses headset featuring multiple sensors and a 3D display, is likely to be revealed on Oct. 6. Microsoft Band 2 fitness cum smartwatch; the Munchkin docking station for new Lumia flagships and Windows 10 Mobile are expected to be unleashed at the launch event.
