Interestingly, Microsoft's Lumia line of devices holds a market share of 95 percent. However, the tech giant reportedly has about 30 partners/manufacturers that build Windows Phone based handsets and one such major company is K-Touch. This company has launched two brand new devices dubbed the "K-Touch 5705A" and "K-Touch 5703A." While the model 5705A is a mid-range device, the 5703A is an entry-level handset for Windows Phone enthusiasts.

K-Touch 5705A

The new K-Touch 5705A features a pocket-friendly 5.0-inch IPS LCD display, complemented by 720p resolution. This combination translates to a pixel density of 294 ppi. Moreover, this handset comes with dual-SIM capability along with dual-standby connectivity. Out of the two slots, the first SIM slot houses a micro-SIM, while the other employs the relatively bigger mini-SIM card. In addition, the handset supports 3G connectivity. Under the hood, the handset is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 chipset with a quad-core processor, clocked at 1.2 GHz and backed by a modest 1 GB of RAM. On the software end, the phone runs on Windows Phone 8.1, notes GSM Arena.

As far as the memory goes, the K-Touch 5705A comes equipped with 8 GB of internal storage capacity with expandable memory option via microSD card. Speaking of camera configuration, there is a respectable 8 MP rear-facing camera unit and a 2 MP front-facing snapper unit for selfies. Lastly, the whole configuration is held together and powered by 1,950 mAh battery unit, which reportedly has the capability to provide up to 10 hours of talk time.

K-Touch 5703A

The inexpensive K-Touch 5703A is reportedly similar to the Nokia Lumia 630 with a 4.5-inch IPS LCD display and 480 x 854 pixels resolution. This translates to a pixel density of 221 ppi. Moreover, this handset reportedly comes with the famous ClearBlack technology. Under the hood, the K-Touch 5703A is powered by the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 chipset, seen in the mid-range variant. However, instead of the 1 GB RAM configuration, this handset settles for an inferior 512 MB of RAM.

With respect to the memory specification, the handset comes housed with 8 GB of internal storage and microSD card slot for further expansion. Furthermore, there is a 5 MP primary camera at the back that can record 720p video.

Moreover, both K-Touch 5705A and K-Touch 5703A will reportedly hit the store shelves in China in a couple of weeks. Nonetheless, there is no information available on the pricing details of both the devices. It is worth mentioning that, the aforesaid handsets are similar to the BLU Win HD and BLU Win Jr, points out GSM Arena. In order to check out the images of the handsets, head to WMPowerUser.
