Redmond based software giant, Microsoft will start releasing previews of its Windows 10 Software Development Kits (SDKs) for testing among insiders before the end of June, according to reports.

According to a blog post on Microsoft’s official webpage, “We are working to deliver the Windows 10 developer tools for Visual Studio 2015 with the release of Windows 10. This will allow you to build your Universal Windows Platform (UWP) apps and submit them to the Windows Store.”

From this month, the company will release previews of the Windows 10 SDK more often to its Windows Insiders, as per the blog post. The company aims to release a Windows 10 SDK preview that corresponds to OS flights through the Windows 10 Insider Preview Fast Ring. Microsoft will also release a matching version of the Windows 10 Mobile emulator, according to the blog post.

According to a report on ZDNet, while Windows 10 is designed to run Windows 8.1 Store apps, Windows 10 Mobile is designed to run Windows Phone 8.1 Store apps. However, Microsoft suggests that developers should test their apps to figure out that they work as intended on Windows 10, after which they can update them to realize the benefits of new Windows 10 features like the Cortana integration, reports ZDNet.

Microsoft is working towards an initiative codenamed ‘Project Westminster’ in which, Microsoft has made information available for Windows developers who are keen on turning their websites into hosted apps and it will be available in the coming Windows Store, reports ZDNet. The publication also mentioned that ‘Project Westminster’ is one of the four bridges Microsoft announced at the 2015 Build conference to receive more apps for the new Windows 10 Store.

Microsoft officials are yet to reveal information on the date when developers can start submitting their apps that can be included in the new universal Windows Store. Windows 10 for PCs and tablets will be available from July 29 and Windows 10 Mobile for phones and small tablets is likely to be available later this year, as per the ZDNet report.
