Microsoft’s Surface line-up has been a massive hit. Now, the world is waiting for the Microsoft Surface Phone 2017 expected to be released this year. Many believe that the Surface Phone will have a camera better than any and will also sport a Carl Zeiss tag. It is highly possible that Microsoft will borrow certain features from the Lumia phones or at least be inspired from them. The Surface Phone 2017 will have both Microsoft’s logo as well as Surface branding.

According to NEUROGADGET, the Microsoft Surface Phone will run on the latest Windows 10 operating system and powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset. Leaked images have confirmed single grille speakers at the top along with 3.5mm headphone jack. The same speakers will also be present at the bottom with USB Type-C port.

It is rumoured that the Microsoft Surface Phone will be made available in 2017 and Microsoft is working round the clock. The company is running trial production test to find out glitches and flaws in the device. Surely, the Surface Phone 2017 will not be just another run of the mill device. It is being developed with care and will reportedly carry some of the best specs and features to awe fans.

The Microsoft Surface Phone 2017 is presumed to be still at the development stage and fans can only rely on leaks and rumours for information. Microsoft has not made anything official yet. The Surface Phone will go against other biggies such as Apple iPhone 8 and Samsung Galaxy S8 and even possible Google Pixel successors. Meanwhile, Microsoft has slashed Surface Book prices by US$150 (AU$205.68 approx) in the US, writes GSMArena.

This is being considered by many as a clear sign that the company will soon release the successor, Microsoft Surface Book 2. Now that Intel has announced its 7th generation Intel Kaby Lake processors at CES 2017, the Surface Book 2 may come out anytime now as the device is rumoured to be waiting for the Kaby Lake processors. Again, Microsoft has not confirmed anything on the same.
