In March, reports were floating around stating that Microsoft is gearing up to release a new build of Windows 10 Technical Preview for phones, targeting many Lumia handsets. However, the latest news is that, the anticipated new build will reportedly be made available on Friday, April 10.

This release date has been confirmed based on the information shared by the Windows 10 Insider Program Chief Gabriel Aul via his Twitter account. But then, it is worth noting that, the Windows 10 Technical Preview for phones will be available only to the members of the Windows Insider Program. Nevertheless, any interested party can sign up for the program and join the group free of charge, notes Phone Arena.

Ineligible Windows Phone Handsets

The Nokia Lumia 930 and Nokia Lumia Icon are the two smartphones that are not part of the aforementioned list. As it turns out, the reason for the exclusion is apparently because of several unprecedented bugs that have not been fixed, so far. However, Phone Arena opines that these handsets will likely be included in the next Windows 10 Technical Preview for phones build.

Here is the tweet from Gabriel Aul confirming the Next build of Windows 10 Technical Preview for phones:
