Microsoft unveiled the impressive, wallet-friendly smartphone “Lumia 640 XL” in April. The original price of the device during launch was reportedly $249.99, under AT&T network, notes Phone Arena. However, Expansys is now offering the device at a significantly discounted price.

The online retailer Expansys USA has listed the jumbo Microsoft Lumia 640 XL handset for only $199.99. It is worth noting that this discount deal is valid only for a limited period of time. Therefore, potential buyers are advised to utilize the offer by placing an order via Expansys’ official Website right away. To top it off, the retailer will apparently ship the device free of cost.

As far as the key Lumia 640 XL specifications go, the handset is the bigger sibling of the Lumia 640 and hence, the display is 5.7-inch big, while the smaller sibling flaunts a pocket friendly 5.0-inch display. Aiding the humongous 5.7-inch screen is the 720 x 1,280 pixels screen resolution. As a result, this display combination translates to a pixel density of 259 ppi.

Under the hood, the Lumia 640 XL is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor and backed by a modest 1 GB of RAM configuration. On the software end, the handset runs on Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Denim update on board.

When it comes to camera specification, this Lumia handset sports a 13 MP rear-facing unit with Carl Zeiss optics and LED flash. In addition, there’s also a gracious 5 MP front-facing shooter for selfies and video chats. Furthermore, the phone comes equipped with 8 GB of built-in storage space and microSD card support for expansion of up to 128 GB.

Apart from the standard connectivity options, the budget-friendly Lumia 640 XL supports 4G LTE and NFC. Similar to other Lumia handsets, this one also comes in a slew of vivid colours namely Matte Cyan, Orange, Black, Matte White and Glossy White. Lastly, the entire configuration is held together and powered by a solid Li-Ion 3,000 mAh battery unit. According to GSM Arena, this battery unit can offer up to 23 hours and 40 minutes of 3G talk time and 936 hours of 3G stand-by time.
