“The Bachelorette's” Michael Turnbull has moved on from his heartbreak with Sam Frost. Turnbull talks about his relationship with new girlfriend Katrina Vincent, a beautician and single mum from Brisbane, in a recent interview.

Turnbull reveals in an exclusive Woman’s Day interview that Vincent entered his life at the perfect time. The 34-year-old former professional footballer recounted that he asked Vincent and her 2-year-old daughter Ava out on a coffee date after noticing the beautician’s picture on Instagram.

During their first date, Turnbull shared that things did not go smoothly because Ava had a bit of a tantrum and vomited. Turnbull further added that he ended up cleaning vomit, which is something that he has never done on a first date, after taking Ava to the park to play on the swings.

Turnbull admitted that his feelings for Vincent are far stronger than what he felt for Sam Frost, who is now in a relationship with Sasha Mielczarek. “I would definitely say this is the first time I’ve felt like this about any girl,” Michael shared.

As for Katrina Vincent, the 30-year-old Brisbane brow specialist and single mum told Woman’s Day that she is a big believer in love at first sight. “I knew within minutes that we had something special,” Vincent shared.

Turnbull and Vincent recently shared their feelings for each other on their respective Instagram accounts. Turnbull posted that Vincent inspires him every day because of her amazing heart.

“I am so blessed to have fallen in love with you @katrinavincent. I am so lucky to have you in my life,” Turnbull said (michael.d.turnbull). Meanwhile, Vincent, who was previously married to Ava’s French father, in turn declared on her account that she has fallen in love with the most amazing man.

In a Sydney Morning Herald (SMH) report, Turnbull shared that he currently enjoys every moment with Katrina and Ava. “The Bachelorette” runner-up is excited to see where things could go with the single mum since he has always wanted to have a family of his own.

On the subject of filling Sam Wood’s shoes in the next season of “The Bachelor,” Turnbull has revealed that he has no plans to go on the reality show. Turnbull explained that he has been focusing his time and energy on "Mychaelsquad," a hashtag he created to bring his fans together, and of course in spending time with Katrina Vincent and her daughter, Ava.
